This gallery contains silverpoint drawings that layer the silver with watercolor or acrylic paint (in addition to gilding). This combination allows for the strong rendering integral to silverpoint to lay atop the paint, adding color to otherwise monochromatic works. Due to its reflective nature, silverpoint must be photographed in low light. In images where the background appears to be gray, it is, in real life, a bright white. Please see the Installation Shots page for more.
